PhotoRobot

PhotoRobot

The ImaGeo Photorobot, a self-developed equipment, takes photoseries with an oriented, standard cameramodel. It can be rotated around two axles, which makes it possible to take photos in any position, even of a sphere. A laser distance measurer and the camera map the object and measure its distance at the same time. The camera, the distance measurer, and the rotating mechanics are programmable, even 11 overlapping photo series can be taken. The number of photos is restricted only by the capacity of the memory. The photorobot is manipulated by a remote control. There is no need for external computer control, so the photorobot is portable, compact and is suitable for field use. It is suitable for good resolution mapping of quarries, shafts, tunnels, etc. Due to the distance measurements, the images can be applied onto a 3D surface.
