CoreDump

CoreDump is the main evaluating software module in the ImaGeo system. The software incorporates drawing, database managing, and visualizing units. It is suitable for the geological analysis of both the scanned images made by the corescanner and the photos taken by the photorobot. The images get into a database, and they can be oriented and vectorially evaluated. This means drawing the geological phenomena onto the images. The photos taken by the Photorobot can be evaluated in 3D from arbitrary views, the images made by the corescanner are evaluated outstretched.
The resulting line system is classified geoogically and exported into a database. Different data can be attached to the drawn lines. The data can be attached to points, lines, or areas, they can be data of orientation, numeric, or string values. The phenomena in the photos taken by the Photorobot are originally oriented, the scanned images are oriented with the help of borehole televiewer images. The drawn points, lines, and areas can be exported in dxf format, and flexible database outputs and queries are possible. The result of the queries can be plotted in stereographic projections, rose diagrams, tadpole diagrams, and histograms.
